With a distinguished heritage in local newspaper production stretching back to the launch of the Birmingham Post in 1857, we also consistently lead the way in newspaper production and enjoy the backing of the UK's largest newspaper publisher, BPM Media Midlands Ltd.

In 1857, John Frederick launched the Birmingham Post. Thirteen years later he published the first edition of the Birmingham Mail.

The Birmingham Post newspaper has been published for over 150 years and it is an established part of city life and the region.

The Birmingham Mail has been published for over 130 years and is the most read local newspaper in the area.

The Sunday Mercury is the area's only regional Sunday newspaper, serving the community for over 85 years.
